Lake Traverse, Minnesota
If you enjoy fishing for lunker walleyes, duck hunting or pheasant hunting, I have some great Lake Traverse lots available. Lake Traverse is located on the border of Minnesota and South Dakota. So you have access to the best of both states for great hunting and fishing.
Being the 12th largest lake out of the 10,000 that Minnesota has to offer and only 3 hours away from the Twin Cities, Lake Traverse is an undiscovered secret that will meet and exceed all of your outdoor needs.
Lake Traverse is a 17 mile long lake dividing Minnesota from South Dakota. One of the benefits of being located in the Minnesota/South Dakota border is it offers fishermen an early walleye opener each year (because it is border waters, you can fish usually 3 weeks prior to Minnesota fishing opener!) The fishing for walleyes is phenomenal, along with northerns, and big summer bluegills are also a main attraction. Plus, you can legally use 2 lines year round! Fishing off shore can also be fantastic. During the fall, the waterfowl and upland hunting is fantastic. The fishing is incredible year round so this is a great getaway any time of year.
